Civilian Audio - Mastering, Mixing, All Things Audio

Hello there and thanks for stopping by my site!  I guess you were looking for me, Christopher Cline, if not try this site out instead.

For those of you searching for a bit more insight, well here's a bit more about me.  I've been in the process of making records for the past 16 or so years, some good, some bad (but mostly good I hope).  I have engineered, mixed, and/or mastered a number of albums from varying genres of music.

Another from Imitate

Here’s another from Imitate, and please pay attention to the seizure warning!!!

Now that we have that out of the way, this was a recent master that came to me from the multi-instrumentalist that goes by Imitate. This one is for the drumline/drumcorp nerds out there. Prepare to get the feels as this single quick ascends from a drumline-esque preamble, to full on break-beat chaos. The initial video capture was produced by Imitate while the remainder of the visualizer was produced by Hiroki Okamoto (scuy(v0id). Be sure to check out Imitate’s other videos here.

Andy & Chris Giving Back to San Antonio Artists During COVID

I’m going to skip repeating the obvious about the current times and get to business here. Me and my good friend Andy McWilliams put together an EP of ambient tunes during COVID shelter-in-place orders in Texas. What began as Andy’s guitar loops evolved into four-track EP that added analog synths, Rhodes, and healthy doses of reverb and delay. “It Was Not Supposed to Happen Like This: Incidental Music Volume One” was the result of our efforts.

All revenue generated through July will be donated to the Corona Arts Relief fund in an effort to help offset the lost revenue to San Antonio’s arts community. If you find us online, please share.

More to come!
