This was a fun project!  This was taken from Scrabbel's Hijacked Tunes, an album of cover songs.  I mastered the album and also played percussion on this track.  Dan Lee is easily the best pop-songsmith and arranger I have ever worked with.  I was fortunate enough to play drums for Scrabbel for the better part of five years, and we still play occasionally whenever I make it back to the Bay Area to work on projects.  Ira Kaplan had nice things to say about this cover to Pitchfork as well; a nice bonus!
